My dad has a friend who owns a GMC (formerly Olds and Pontaic) dealer who also deals in used cars. Whenever I’m in a position to buy a car, I call him first to see if he has anything good on the lot. Every single time I call and ask, I get “You should know by now I don’t keep anything on the lot with a manual *exasperated* why can’t you just drive an automatic like everyone else?!?”

Local Ford dealership did that to my Dad when he wanted to try out the FiST and the FoST. Then they were all “But won’t you drive a Mustang, sir?” Then they didn’t have any manual Mustangs. He got pissed and promptly bought elsewhere. Ridiculous.
